Botox – Facial Muscle Relaxing

For smoothing lines and softening wrinkles such as those between the eyes, crows-feet and forehead.

The treatment can balance dimensions with its effect on muscle action giving a natural rejuvenating lift. Small carefully measured doses of Botox are injected into pin-point areas of specific muscles to relax particular groups, resulting in wrinkle smoothing and line diminishing effects.

PDO & p-LA-CL Thread Lifts

For lifting and tightening ageing skin.

Also known as the ‘lunchtime facelift’, thread lifts are a relatively new, non-surgical procedure that are a great alternative to the traditional facelift. The results are immediate, noticeable and long-lasting. The best alternative to the risks and downtime required with a surgical facelift. As with surgery it does not have to be your whole face that is lifted. Thread lift treatment can be used to lift specific areas such as mid-face, lower face, jaw, neck and décolletage. Other specialist threads are used for improving specific areas such as: eyebags and lips. The treatment is ideal for those in their late 30s to 60s.

The treatment is carried out in under an hour with local anaesthetic allowing you to return to your standard daily routine.

The threads/sutures are placed beneath the skin, into the underlying fat layer about 5mm underneath the surface of the skin. The threads are then gently pulled to achieve the desired lift and tightening effect. Once in place, the threads are then trimmed.

The threads are reabsorbable surgical suture material. This means that, over time, they break down and are absorbed by the body, so their effects are temporary (1-3 years) and risk of reaction, downtime and infection are reduced compared to a surgical facelift.

Thread lifts have a double restorative effect. Not only do they instantly lift the skin, moving it into a more youthful position, as they break down they also stimulate cell renewal and collagen production in the treated area. This rejuvenation property of PDO threads also makes them ideal as an advanced treatment purely for greatly improving skin quality. For this treatment the threads are inserted using a technique designed not to cause any lift or tension on the skin. This treatment is often used as part of a rejuvenation treatment plan.

For removing those stubborn areas of fat that interrupt your silhouette in spite of diet and exercise.

Your areas to be treated are targeted with our advanced technique injecting into the pockets of fat, triggering thermogenesis (your fat cells to heat up) then the cells dissolve and are discarded by your normal bodily processes. This is not a weight-loss treatment or subject to being on our weight-loss programme, Sese Slim. Whilst it compliments our weight-loss programme perfectly this treatment is for all of you who have struggled to smooth those troublesome bulges. These brands share our passion for the health benefits of the sea and the importance of protecting your skin from the sun without harsh chemicals.

Hæckels Skincare

Haeckels is a natural skincare brand based on the tradition of Thalassotherapy (derived from the Greek word meaning sea or ocean) treatments use ocean water, seaweed, ocean mud and marine minerals to treat ailments and replenish, remineralise and revitalise the body as well as the mind.

The skincare range uses the power of ocean vegetables to focus on epidermal hydration. Like hyaluronic acid, these unique extracts have hygroscopic properties to capture water molecules on the surface of your skin. However, seaweed is three times more efficient than hyaluronic acid at hydrating and restructuring skin. Therefore hand-harvested seaweed forms the base ingredient of the whole product range.

Haeckels take great pride holding one of only two licenses in England to harvest seaweed and see it as their responsibility to care for the coastline, to clean and monitor it. The products are hand crafted in their lab in Margate, using only locally growing botanicals that offer the very best anti-oxidant properties. Only using materials that naturally replenish or are from waste products to ensure no harmful waste is created during any point of the products’ life-cycle, and use initiatives to improve environmental health alongside their products.

Altruist Dermatologist Sunscreen

Developed by Kent based Dr Andrew Birnie in partnership with some of the best formulation scientists in Europe. Altruist has a broad range of photostable UV filters, including the most advanced filter Tinosorb A2B. Fabulous cosmetic feel – easily absorbed, non-sticky and no residue. Hypoallergenic and fragrance free and for all skin types and ages.

Its Altruist’s mission to reduce the incidence of skin cancer through increased use of quality sunscreen together with better education and awareness. Altruist is able to offer sunscreen at an affordable price because of reduced profit margins and unnecessary marketing costs. Moreover, Altruist donates to charities supporting children with albinism.

Clinic Sese share the opinion, that cost should not be a barrier to regular use of sunscreen and fully support their mission. So in the true sense of altruism we are retailing the products at no profit to us. However, we encourage you to make a donation to the charities Under The Same Sun and/or African Albino Foundation.
